It's the 80ies blog recalling all the most beautiful things from the golden years of 1980s. Or something less.

*must get more He-man..* Seriously, which other cartoon (or any series for that matter) has as addictive and brilliant intro as in He-Man...
Now did they make psychedelic cartoons in the 80s or what?
I am eternally bitter that I never got a He-Man figure.
Instead, I got this cheaply-imitated version figure.
When I'm superrich I'm gonna collect the whole He-Man set.
Yes. I rest my case here.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (-87)
No crappy movements, cheap sharp corners but the real thing!
Darn that Technodrome was scary:
And do you remember this? *sight*:
Last, but not least, the original theme song:
>> TMNT theme !! (the real thing)

The Music of the 80s, part 1
It is like an acid trip with no escapewhen you hit the 'play' button.
You're hooked. It's like a surge of emotions, feelings, flashbacks.
A little warmup with a classic
Commodore 64 warmup
Then, let's soak in in Vice
Crockett's Theme / Commodore versio
Smuggler's Blues
Heatbeat (Red 7)
Some of the classics
Out of touch - Hall & Oates
Self Control - Laura Branigan
Run to you -Bryan Adams
Yep,
I'll be back for more!

This is how 80ies style was carried correctly
It was all about Don "Sonny" Johnson.
Miami Vice became the trendsetter of the 80s. The show had style and hipness and Don Johnson was the true epitome of it all.
Things to wear "the Don Johnson-style":
1. Pastel colors
2. Short jackets
3. Wayfarer sunglasses
Things NOT to wear:
1. Socks
2. Leather pants aka lederhosen
3. Socks
